From the desk of our Vice-President

The US is trying to implement and manage regulations to combat the growing E-Waste problem in our country. As both an R2 and E-Stewards certified electronics recycling company located in Washington, DC, I am slowly seeing a movement by the Federal Government itself to follow its own regulations, however, we are still being forced to compete with agencies like GSA and CEPO whom are able to sell their assets to anybody who pays the highest dollar.

I would hope that one day there will be a level playing field by electronics recycling companies to successfully grow and compete in an environment where the lawmakers are enforcing non-export policies, secure data security policies and growth to small business.

Overtime as the recent policies mature I am sure we will see a huge positive impact to the global environment as many countries and corporate industries seem to follow US Government policy.
